#1 Good Attitude Combat Training Dummy

I’ve been hanging out at World 60 GE, selling items to cut down on bank space. From a max of 1170 spaces, I’m down to less than 1000.

Recently, I discovered >200 combat training dummies buried in some unused tab. The RS Wiki suggests they come from Treasure Trail, but who knows over what period of time I acquired them. To me, >200 combat training dummies is too many.

What is your purpose?

The dummies can’t be sold, and it would seem cruel to destroy them. So, dutifully, I geared up and have been wailing on the dummies ever since. So far, I’ve netted a Strength level from the deal. But what are the training dummies getting out of it?

Combat training dummies can be configured to 1 of the 3 major styles of combat (Melee, Magic, or Ranged). You can additionally configure 1 or 3 to deploy.

If you attempt to deploy 3 dummies in an area that cannot support them, the following error message appears: You cannot place a trio of dummies here.

Fine! Me and my 3 friends will go elsewhere.

Anyways, I’ve been mostly AFK-ing the dummies while waiting on GE offers. I learned that combat dummies don’t count towards invention experience on augmented items, which is a shame.

Although 206 combat training dummies only takes away 1 bank space, I’ll still be glad to get rid of them… until the next time I get them as a reward from Treasure Hunter.
