I’m closing in on the last shards I need for the Golden Cape. One of the shard-get options includes training Slayer, a skill I haven’t touched since returning to Gielinor in 2023.

As a result of years-long inactivity from RuneScape, I forget how to play this complex game.

Returning to Slayer was puzzling: Is Mighty Slayer Helmet still “worth” at tier 70, despite the rest of my gear being +Tier 80? At 97 Slayer, am I hosed on XP by taking tasks only from Kuradel? And, most importantly, where the heck are Iron Dragons?

Thankfully, Sal’s Realm (known for online guides) always has my back. Soon, I had my answer to the last question: Brimhaven Dungeon!

Brimhaven Dungeon is located a quick walk from the Karamja lodestone. I headed there and wandered to the Dungeon entrance, where I was reunited with you, Saniboch, you sly dog:

Dear Saniboch,

We have to stop meeting this way. I wish to enter the Brimhaven Dungeon. You wish to extort me for 875g.

Players may free themselves from your grift by completing Karamja achievements. I have no plans to do so . Therefore, I side-eye you as I hand over 875g.

Do you even work for the government of Karamja? Are you some bloke posted up trying to grift unsuspecting adventurers? What happens with the GP I give you?

One thing I know—that GP isn’t being used for vine maintenance.
